Custom LST Clip Request Form

Upon completing a request, we will design the clip and get a production estimate. Please allow 1-5 days for an estimate to be complete. There will be a setup fee of $10 on all custom orders. Requests are free to make and we may wave the fee if we want to offer the requested dimensions on the website for everyone.

A custom order is for an order that to be printed on demand, while a request for a store item is a request for us to add the item into our bulk printing schedule to add to the store. Not all requests will be approved.
A wider diameter will take more time to print, be less rigid, but it will limit stress to your plant by creating a gentle bend.
0 degrees creates a 180 degree bend, 30 degrees creates a 120 degree bend, 45 degrees creates a 90 degree bend. In general 180-2*wing angle is the bend created by the clip
This is the half circle at the end of the clip, Be default, we have set it to 7mm, but for large branch diameters, and a thick wall width, a larger diameter will give the arms slightly more rigidity.
Aim for a number within 2-5mm of the branches that you want to bend. The bigger the branch width, the less impact your wing angle has on the bend of your branch. 10mm is our default.
Our default clip uses a 2mm wall width, keeping it 1/10 of the wall diameter, or 1/5th of branch diameter is safe. It’s good to have it slightly thin so the clip breaks if left on the plant for too long instead of hurting the plant.
Design expections on a custom order beyond the fields above will be subject to an hourly design rate. Requests for a product feature in the store outside of an order are always appreciated, though they may not be used. **We print with PLA, custom orders with different materials will require a larger setup fee and a large order quantity (500 or more depending on size)
